SWEDEN HAS A NEW WORLD CHAMPION
Carl ‘deadlift.miyagi’ Johansson has exceeded all expectations. Making his debut on the world stage, Carl has captivated everyone’s attention. He shattered the deadlift record, establishing himself as the new record holder, and surpassed his previous records in squats and bench press.
He has now taken the torch from Taylor Atwood, who, since winning his first World Championship title in 2017, is widely considered one of the greatest Powerlifters of all time, regardless of weight class or age.

267.5 kg in squats (Jr European Record, Swedish junior record)
182.5 kg in bench press (Jr Swedish Record)
328 kg in deadlift (Senior World Record)
Total score of 778 ( Jr World Record with an increase of 40.5 kg and European Senior Record)
